Episodic memory
Agent memory that records what happened: session events, decisions taken, outcomes observed, usually as logs or session summaries.
Episodic memory answers "what did we do last time and how did it go." Its characteristic failure is recording intentions as outcomes: a summary that says "fixed the auth bug" when the fix was attempted, poisoning later sessions with false history.
Example
A session summary noting "migration script written and tested against staging; production run not yet done."
